Description
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, states, and tribes are conducting a series of surveys of the nation's aquatic resources. These studies provide nationally consistent and scientifically-defensible assessments of our nation's waters and can be used to track changes in condition over time. This particular survey, the National Wetlands Condition Assessment, is the first of its kind and will help us measure the health of our waters, take action to prevent pollution, and evaluate the effectiveness of protection and restoration efforts. For more information about wetlands and aquatic surveys, go to: http://www.epa.gov/aquaticsurveys
